Eat Green: Miami Farmer's Markets

Shop local and enjoy a morning or afternoon in the sun - it's prime farmers market season in Miami. Green markets are a great way to support local businesses, teach little ones about gardening & food and encourage healthier eating. Kids (and adults) will love mingling with shop owners, sampling the goods, dancing to live music & doing something different. Here are a few of our favorite local markets...

  • Sunset Harbor/Purdy Ave. It's brand new, but this weekly market feels like a natural fit in this emerging Miami Beach neighborhood. Wednesdays from 11am-6pm.
  • Coral Gables. It's seasonal and stocked with family-friendly fun. Each week features a different gardening workshop, cooking demo & children's activity. Saturdays from 8am-2pm.
  • Coconut Grove. A natural eats bonanza. All participating vendors are located within 40 imles of the Grove and goods include honey, hams, breads, grass0fed beef & seafood.
